amazing lace

it's rather timely that i'll be heading to Sicily on Friday...  it's very likely i'm going to be mentally channeling Dolce & Gabbana while there.  normally, senore Dolce & senore Gabbana have me feeling all hot and sultry - but this collection actually makes me feel like running off and getting married wearing one of these lovely, lacy (and still somehow uber sultry) dresses...  then of course, i would have to mourn the loss of something or other (maybe a beloved pair of shoes) wearing a slinky black number... just another day in the life, you know.   the detailing on these pieces is bellisimo - delicate and absolutely beautiful.  these boys really know how to make a woman feel like a WOMAN.  loves it.

worship in the house of Pucci

there are collections i like, collections i love, and then the occasional collection that makes me feel like i took the most amazing drug on the planet and have transported into some transcendental place of bliss.  there is no other category than that for Pucci's showing.  i barely even have words (shocking for me, no?)  to describe just how much i am reeling over these pieces.  obvi, the killer prints are to be expected, and oh they deliver.  the slim 70's cuts are just beyond, on the dresses, the pants, the tunics...  each and every one just makes my eyes grow wide and "OH MY GOD" comes out of my mouth involuntarily.   i am dizzy.  i am spinning.  i am wanting to dive head first into this collection and forever live out the sexy lifestyle it oozes.  this is my utopia.  Pucci, i bow to thee and surrender myself - i am forever yours.

D&G showed a collection that was like a slightly naughty garden party.  the kind i would most likely attend, where something cheeky might be happening at any given moment behind the shrubbery.   loving the long, floaty dresses - uber sexy swish when a lady walks - this never fails to win me over.  also a huge fan of the head scarf - a classic that you can play with to give it your own personal style.  and i barely even need to mention this, given my well documented obsession - but those shoes?  LOVE.  i really do need to find myself a large chateau with a garden....

Milano mi amores.  alora, what better way to get your sexy on than with some Gucci?   more 70's influence, (as is the theme this season), add in some leather, some gorgeous nude tones, a bit of fringe (without being too yee-ha about it), a parade of SICK shoes that have me reeling,  and some slicked back hair with attitude - and it is ON babies.  LOVES it.  this whole seventies thing really makes me feeling like dancing.  well, that and shopping...
