you may have gathered in past posts that i am particularly enamored of things French. c'est vrai. so it obviously pleases me no end to see a collection of such "let's jet off to the South of France this weekend darling" perfection.
Catherine Malandrino gets it right every time. the woman designs for who she is, and she is la femme. and i adore it. this collection was no exception. (side note - i love the presentation on the water) the pieces are tres francais, with gorgeous bits of silk macrame, crochet work and woven leather mixed in with perfectly floaty chiffon and jersey. i'd love to say more, but i really must go grab my suitcase and start packing... you know, for the South of France... a bien-tot cheries!
