the ever fabulous designers for Rodarte, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, are on a ROLL baby. they create gorge and amazing clothes. tis true. the fashionistas of the world, both celebrity and we mere mortals, seem to adore them. true again. they win the 2009 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award. check. they do a line for Target, that sells out faster than you can say Mulleavy. phew.
but all this is not enough - and SO - from February 11th through March 14th at the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum right here in good old N.Y.C, there will be an instillation exhibit, “Quicktake: Rodarte”. it's conveniently located just across the Park from my house, which was very nice of them to do for me.
i say they should just keep on going, and take over the world. why not, right?
